Sanne Flyvbjerg holds a MA degree from the University of Aarhus, Department of Aesthetic Studies at the Faculty of Arts. She graduated in 2007 with a dissertation about the relationship between perception and technology in contemporary art.
After graduating from university she worked for a year as assistant curator at Aarhus Art Building, Center for Contemporary Art.

Her work at Leif Djurhuus’ collection started in the spring of 2009 at a time when the exhibition space was nothing but a building site. Her work as manager and curator of the actual collection began with the much-awaited opening in January 2010.
